In primary school students use various electronic devices, such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets, to help them learn new skills. These devices have now become more important than ever, with increased demands on children’s time from homework, sports and other activities, as well as increasing usage by parents to monitor the child’s use of electronic devices. Although most children enjoy using these devices, research into their effects on learning has not been extensive. Whilst most children are socially responsive and easily absorb information provided by teachers and parents, it is unclear whether the devices have any long-term effects on learning.

Many schools across the country are introducing and using technology in classrooms, with the largest amount being introduced in the UK. Most students now use digital devices, such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets, in primary school for their school work. A recent study by King’s College London suggested that using technology in classrooms can boost literacy. Surprisingly the study found that when comparing traditional school work with work done on digital devices, the students showed no significant increase in comprehension. However, the researchers did note that this increase in comprehension was only for those students who were already learning to read and their comprehension of more advanced reading topics. In addition the study found that girls were better readers than boys, which bodes well for any future research into learning how girls use and learn about technology.

The use of digital devices such as digital writing pads and tablets has become so widespread that there are now a number of smartphone apps specifically designed for educational purposes. Apps such as Hangouts and Skype to make it possible to communicate directly with teachers and fellow students, rather than having to speak to a school administrator or another student via a telephone or other communication device. It is clear that there is a great deal of crossover between written and spoken language, but handwriting still plays an important part in the communication process. Using technology to aid learning will almost surely continue to gain in popularity.

Many of the most exciting computer-based educational applications are being developed for high school students. One of the most impressive examples is called Meta-alysis mathematics. This is designed for high school students who have trouble understanding standard mathematical sentences because they are unfamiliar with the vocabulary employed in these sentences. Meta-alysis mathematics uses handwriting analysis to teach students the types of sentences they are familiar with and enables them to recognize when they are making an error based on their own handwriting.

Another great application developed for high school students is the International Journal of Mathematics Applications. The International Journal of Mathematics Applications was established to supplement the teaching of algebra at a physical education high school. According to the journal, “Algebraic language acquisition has stagnated and mathematics teachers are currently working within a framework which does not support the teaching of algebra beyond the first year.” This new software is designed to help educators to support their students’ needs through teaching of higher mathematics using both hands-on techniques and visual images.

In a recent study published by the International Journal of Mathematics Applications, it was found that students’ understanding of algebra improved when they were also taught about graphing and reading comprehension. Students who were also taught about writing became better acquainted with forms of technology and its implications as they progressed in their education. Writing about math in the same way as they would read or write, was found to help students improve their writing. The International Journal of Mathematics Applications has been in existence for more than twenty years and continues to serve as an important educational research resource.

Technology is often implemented as a means to increase learning. However, there are cases where technology serves to create non-traditional learning outcomes. A common non-traditional learning outcome created through the use of technology is mixed-reality gaming. Mixed-reality games take place in completely digital environments and the player must use both senses to move through the environment.

Writing about Technology is a fascinating topic and one that has been researched extensively and can be written about on numerous different topics. A good topic selection guide will provide ideas as to what topics will be covered in the report and how these selected topics should relate to research paper requirements. The information provided must be relevant to the paper and should demonstrate a familiarity with the topic. When writing about technology, you should be careful to not only document the process, but also be able to communicate the results in an easily understood and informative manner.
